JOB READINESS CLASSES
The Employment Development classes teach skills necessary to obtain gainful employment. From resume writing and online job search, to interviewing skills, students gain the knowledge and skills that strengthen career goals. The Employment team is skilled at working with individuals who have been justice involved and gives the participants the skill-sets to compete in an ever-changing marketplace.
Classes are small and space is limited to allow for more one-on-one experiences. Don’t miss out. Be sure to reserve your spot by going to our Calendar of Events page and registering. Registration will be open for a short time when an event is scheduled.
1-ON-1 JOB COACHING
Some people benefit from 1-on-1 discussion and feedback during their job search. Our team of trainers offers. You can have your resume critiqued and improved, discuss background challenges, and receive guidance throughout the application process and hiring. Up to $50.00 is provided to help participants who complete the program, and have obtained a job, with clothing or equipment needed for the job.
EMPOWERMENT FAIRS & HIRING EVENTS
Periodically we offer Empowerment Fairs & Hiring Events to provide networking opportunities for participants. Employers meet on-site and offer real time employment opportunities and other relevant training.
