Immigrant Case Management is designed to help immigrants build their life in the USA by providing support from the first steps of meeting basic needs such as food, finding affordable housing, and navigating the legal processes to achieving educational and career goals. HOUSING ASSISTANCE
It’s not an easy path to arrive in a new country and find a new home. CAASTLC provides housing counseling, home ownership & down payment assistance, and rent & mortgage assistance. This program supports all immigrants regardless of country of origin or status: Asylum, Refugees, immigrants with Temporary protected status, or Humanitarian parole.
CAASTLC has a Food Pantry Program and provides access to high quality, nutritious food through our Seeds of Hope Farm. Our Food Pantry provides immigrant families with nutritious food items and our Seeds of Hope Farm offers affordable boxes of freshly picked produce. The Seeds of Hope Farm application process and food distribution are contact free.
CAASTLC provides utility assistance through our Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). This program is designed to provide utility bill assistance to alleviate the immediate threat of disconnection and assist with the restoration of energy services to the home. Immigrants who have achieved citizenship status are eligible for assistance under this program.
CAASTLC offers employment development services for immigrants which includes one-on-one job coaching, employment fairs, hiring events, and job readiness classes. Job readiness classes contain an intensive workforce curriculum that teaches resume building, job search techniques, and other tools necessary to obtain and retain employment.
CAASTLC’s mental health program for immigrants includes initial screenings & assessments, development of a care plan, counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy, referrals, and community engagement and outreach. CAASTLC also offers specialized services to assist persons involved with the justice system.
